The Assassin plot

Isolated on a remote Greek island, retired hitman Julie finds himself in a somewhat awkward reunion with her estranged son, Edward, who is visiting from England. I thought this series was pretty good. Not that it was a masterpiece within this genre, but it was easy to watch; just relaxing. The bickering between Julie and Edward did get a bit too much at some point, though. The cast was decent, but the most surprising thing for me was definitely "the Dutchman" Jasper de Voogdt; instead of casting a Dutch actor for this, suddenly there stood the Danish actor David Dencik, known from, among others, Kastanjemanden - Season 1 (2021).
