Director Roy Dames lived in Amsterdam East in the eighties. In his favorite pub he met the blood gabbers Verbrande Herman, Rooie Jos, Dikke Bobbie and Jantje van Amsterdam. For almost thirty years Roy has been close to these free penozy boys with his camera. After previous films, each of which became cult hits, the men, now scarred by life, are now taking stock of their stormy past.
