I hate clowns, but Stitches is a clown to love. It all starts well when he has to entertain a couple of kids with shitty humor and things go horribly wrong. Pretty sad actually, but thanks to an egg, some paint and a little lightning, he gets his chance for revenge. Right, the plot, like the entire movie, has been completely ripped off.

The emphasis is clearly more on comedy in which we see the teenage developments of loser Tom who doesn't want to be popular with his friends, and more importantly, the ladies. They are not great actors, and there is not much eye candy this time either, but it was no punishment to watch the whole thing.

When Stitches makes his entrance, it can't get any better. Noble plays very nice, spits out a few hilarious one-liners, but above all, pulls off some very creative murders. Several clown attributes lend him a hand, and the whole thing is so unbelievably rude, but rendered with such a sense of comedy that you can't help but watch with a big smile.

The ending was a bit bland and easy and could have been a bit more epic. Besides that I had a very good time.

I'm not really upset about it. The first fifteen minutes are clearly the most enjoyable. The way Stitches presents himself at the children's party can be called hilarious at times. He is really bad, has a rough language and is therefore quite funny.

Once arrived in the present, the level drops anyway. The humor in particular is less there, apart from a single successful moment, while there is hardly any horror at all. Once the killing starts it all goes over the top, with reasonable kills and especially a lot of gore and blood.

It just never really gets fun anymore. I don't exactly know what it is either. Idea is nice, start very nice, but after that hardly laughed, because maybe it goes too much over the top. I can't put my finger on it, but in the end it all went wrong.

Coulrophobia, if you don't already have it then guaranteed after this movie!

Well kiddies let the clown die in a fatal accident and 6 years later he crawls out of his grave again to take revenge.

It's a horror comedy, actually a successful one and that doesn't mean that the kills have been cut back, they are original and quite solid in terms of gore.

Top of the clown horror.
