The Exciters plot
Ronnie Rand must marry before she turns 21 or lose her inheritance, and meets Pierre Martel, a member of a gang of thieves. Convinced that he is a "real man," she marries him. Pierre's henchmen try to blackmail Ronnie, and when she refuses to sign a check, they try to kill Pierre.
