Ziyara plot

Until the 1950s, Morocco had more than 300,000 Jewish inhabitants. From the 1950s until just after the Six-Day War in June 1967, people left en masse to foreign countries such as France, Israel and America. The family of filmmaker Simone Bitton settled in France. In this documentary, Bitton returns to her homeland and searches for remains of the Jews.
