The Plastic Detox plot

The documentary follows the stories of six couples facing unexplained fertility issues—some of whom have been trying to conceive for years. Guided by environmental and reproductive epidemiologist Shanna H. Swan, they embark on a three-month effort to drastically reduce their daily exposure to plastic-related chemicals in the hopes of improved health indicators and, ultimately, pregnancy.
