In 1997, Fluxus artist Willem de Ridder organized a special 'exhibition' in the Stedelijk Museum, without the knowledge of the museum management. In his audio tour, De Ridder completely ignored the art collection and focused on screws in the wall and cracks in the marble, which he named as works of art and gave titles such as: Black Hole (1995), Screw You (1978) and Laser Vision (1994). ). In the audio tour, De Ridder's voice guided the audience past these subtle works, which unknowing visitors would not easily notice. During the renovation of the Stedelijk Museum, many of these 'works of art' disappeared or were damaged.
