Vinnare och Förlorare plot
Fredrik, a single father and jockey by trade, is so obsessed with his racing horses that he doesn't realize his 10-year-old daughter Magda is unhappy. Magda meets young woman Helen, who works at the local bingo hall, and they become friends. Helen, in turn, falls for Fredrik, who doesn't notice. He has other things on his mind, though, as his stable is on the brink of bankruptcy. Winning that one race, that's what his life is about. Or not?
