Leitmotiv plot
Writer Herman Henkelman's career isn't exactly thriving. While appearing on a trendy talk show, he's even ridiculed by the witty host. "What do you actually have to say about the world?" she asks Herman. He remains silent. Determined to redeem himself after his flop, he decides to write a socially engaged book.
