Friends & Lovers plot

"They started out as friends. The trouble began when they became lovers!"

Shelby (Staci Francis) and her best friend Debra (Monica Calhoun) are fed up with dating, premarital sex, and men in general. Each has gone in search of love, found it and lost it again and at this point they have renounced the men forever. Until Debra meets Leonard DuBois (Miguel A. Núñez Jr.), an aspiring stand-up comedian who tries to find his way into her heart through humor.
