Sudden Death plot
"Terror goes into overtime."
A pair of terrorists kidnap the vice president and threaten to blow up the stadium where an ice hockey final is currently underway. Firefighter Darren finds out about the plan and decides to thwart the terrorists' plans.

much better than the hard one, I'm tired of seeing that one, comes on TV all the time. sudden death has that cozy bustle that I love in movies and usually situated in airports (which is hard too), control rooms, New York streets and hospitals. I also like the story and the actors (powers boothe is a blissful actor). for me a big 5, and I don't give that rap..........

Low rating for this JCVD movie, Sudden Death.
I think this film has a lot to offer. In terms of action and tension, it is mustache. I also thought the climax was pretty cool. And then we have our Jean-Claude van Damme who gets into a fight with a bunch of terrorists a few times. That fight in the kitchen is especially entertaining. Villain Boothe also had a blast!
The story, the umpteenth Die Hard-like movie, but that didn't spoil the fun for me. On the contrary, as a child I often saw this film and today I can certainly still enjoy it! 3.5*

Certainly not a bad action film, entertaining, exciting with many pleasant action scenes and a good ending. Boothe Powers plays his part, though strongly as a villain.
