Ein Schatz fürs Leben - Abenteuer in Panama plot

Archaeologist Dr. Wilhelm Brock (Herz-Kestranek) has been searching for the legendary and mysterious treasure of the Oromics for a long time. In an old archive he discovers an important reference to a sunken ship off the coast of Panama. But unfortunately, Dr. Wilhelm Brock suffers a heart attack from all the excitement. His bossy daughter Johanna Brock (Stinshoff) wants to sell her father's expedition ship to pay for an operation. But Brock's team persuades her to make one last attempt to recover the treasure. However, there is a privateer on the shore, Wilhelm's wealthy former partner Carlos Ortega, who will stop at nothing.
