The American Standards plot

"Can they come back together or is it too late?"

Due to marital problems, Doc Jennings is at a turning point in his life. He decides to go to his childhood home to celebrate his mother Ann's birthday. While family and friends seem to think all is well, he sees some dramatic changes between his mother and father Jack. He stays with them after the birthday and uncovers dark secrets, lies, affairs and sadness within his seemingly perfect family.
