Getting That Girl plot

In the final days of her senior year, Mandy Meyers is forced to switch schools when her father has to move from Washington, DC to Los Angeles for work. Attractive and intelligent as she is, she sees McDermott High as an opportunity to make a fresh start, have fun and try things she's never done before. On her first day of school, Mandy befriends the two prettiest, but also meanest, girls at McDermott High, who try to introduce her to the wild side of life at McDermott High. Also, the entire male graduating class has noticed Mandy and soon she is being chased by an apathetic yet charismatic boy and a star football player.
